msvcrt.dll problems with BFBC2 or MOH under Win XP 32 bit

If u got problems when starting BFBC2 or MOH (could be other games as well).

The msvcrt.dll file is not the big problem its your DirectX.

If u got some sort of DirectX 10 or 11 installed Uninstall it.

If the problem still persist go to C:/Windows/system32/ and delete all d3d 10 and 11 files.

Here is the names of the 25 I found.

d3d10.dll
d3d10core.dll
D3D10Ref.DLL
D3D10SDKLayers.DLL
d3dcsx_42.dll
d3dx10.dll
d3dx10_35.dll
d3dx10_38.dll
d3dx10_41.dll
D3DX10d_42.dll
D3DX11d_42.dll
D3D11Ref.dll
d3dcsx_43.dll
d3dx10_33.dll
d3dx10_36.dll
d3dx10_39.dll
d3dx10_42.dll
d3dx11_42.dll
D3D11SDKLayers.dll
D3DCSXd_42.dll
d3dx10_34.dll
d3dx10_37.dll
d3dx10_40.dll
d3dx10_43.dll
d3dx11_43.dll

Now u probably going to get some missing d3d .dll files instead of the msvcrt.dll when trying to start.

Install the latest DirectX End-User Runtime Web installer and restart pc.

Hopefully u don't got that irritating msvcrt.dll error any more.
